This chapter examines the process of innovation adoption and diffusion. He suggests that innovation is driven by three paradigms that focus on: individual creative genius, the technological pressure of systematic scientific inquiry, and market pull. One of the main goals of the expansion is to get the latest technology adopted by a community member to their advantage. So, diffusion of innovation is a very important step to make people aware of the latest innovation in the society to adopt the latest innovation. While the innovation-decision process is the process by which an individual decides to accept or reject a new idea. The most significant difference between the two processes is that diffusion occurs between units of a social system, while innovation decision-making occurs within the mind of the individual. When innovations are introduced into any social system, there are very few people who immediately adopt and put them to work, and some farmers take a very long time to adopt and use them. According to this criterion, adopters are classified into five categories, which are innovators, early adopters, early majority, late majority and laggards. The perceived attributes of an innovation are one of the factors that determine the speed with which an idea is adopted, which are relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trialability, and observability. Adoption is essentially a decision-making process. The adoption of a particular practice is not the result of a single decision to act, but a series of actions and thought decisions. Diffusion is a process that involves the spread of new ideas to members of a social system.
