Indian Agricultural extension is playing a major role in the spreading of agricultural technologies to increase productivity and bring a new change in the farmingcommunity. The introduction of Information Communication Technology (ICT) has revolutionized agricultural extension in India, particularly through the initiatives of State Agricultural Universities (SAUs). This may probably help them to face the presenft day challenges such as limited extension personnel and reach of traditional methods persist. To address these, e-Extension (eE) emerges as a viable solution, leveraging web portals, social media, and mobile apps. The benefits of eE include portability, cost-effectiveness, and wider reach in real-time. SAUs, in collaboration with various stakeholders, are actively engaging in eE initiatives. Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has spearheaded efforts like M-Kisan portal and farmers' blogs. Additionally, SAUs have developed platforms like TNAU Agritech Portal and innovative programs like "RythuMitra". Integration of ICT with agriculture, promises sustainable development and empowerment of farmers, enabling access to timely and location-specific information. While challenges like limited internet connectivity persist, ICT-based e-Extension holds immense potential to transform agricultural extension services, facilitating inclusive growth and prosperity in Indian agriculture
