This chapter describes a rapid, space-saving, and harmless method of sample preparation followed by reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography with diode-array detection to quantify melamine in milk. The milk extract including melamine was purified using a centrifugal ultrafiltration device. The total analytical time was <20 min for each sample and no organic solvents were used at any stage of the analysis.
