In the modern development of new drug discovery, product and process development strategies shifted to the next level. Newer technologies, inventions in methodological changes, minimization of errors, resources, and energy-related ones are considered prime parts. Lacuna in the flow of streams of drug delivery system which is easily approachable with high potency. This problem will be rectified by altering newer technologies and implementing modified systems for drug utilization in a rational aspect. Development in the combination of two or more drugs in a single pharmaceutical dosage form known as a fixed dose drug combination is essential for the way to personalized medicine. These fixed-dose combinations had an alternative to monotherapy in the treatment of various chronic diseases such as cancer, HIV, diabetes, hypertension, asthma, Helicobacter pylori, and tuberculosis by offering several merits including patients’ compliance, reduced risk of adverse events, dosage schedule, superior efficacy, tolerability and packaging activities. Drug delivery newer approaches to modify the dynamic properties of a pharmaceutical drug or compound and its pharmacokinetic properties. Modified Release formulations may help to achieve the desired plasma drug concentration and maintain it for a certain period, naturally for a longer time than immediate-release (IR) formulations.
