This study gives information about how to apply GIS applications in fisheries and aquatic sciences. GIS technology is widely used in studies in terrestrial areas. It is just spreading in marine areas. This technology benefits us both in terms of time and cost. Nowadays, GIS and remote sensing technologies are frequently used in most marine studies. In addition to the traditional research methods used in marine studies, these technologies should now take their place.
