The health benefits of broccoli are numerous. The vegetable is a good source of Vitamin A, potassium, folic acid, iron and fibre and is high in vitamins and minerals. The edible flower heads of broccoli or Brassica oleracea, which are produced as an annual or biennial plant, are consumed as vegetables. The oblong, thick, leathery, gray-blue to green leaves of the broccoli plant grow from a thick, green stalk, or stem. The Large, branching green flower heads covered in a profusion of white or yellow blooms are produced by the shrub. Broccoli is a rare type of vegetable. Because so few farmers are knowledgeable about how to cultivate broccoli and its marketing, broccoli farming is a good source of money. Use this vegetable in salads since it is pleasant and crisp to eat. The plant of broccoli is the same size as that of cauliflower. Presently, India is seeing a rise in popularity for this vegetable.
