Abstract

One of the most significant fruit harvests from the subtropical zone is litchi. In certain Indian states, it is eaten in fresh and dried forms. It is also well-liked among fruit crops because of its superior quality, pleasant flavour, juicy pulp (aril) and appealing red colour. In litchi, stress can exacerbate natural fruit drop and it may be exacerbated by dryness, very low weather, or nutrient deficiency. It's crucial to take precautions to reduce stress because litchi is infamous for being ready to drop fruit early. Several pests, including the litchi stink insect, fruit spotting bugs, erinose mites and several moth and fruit fly species, could attack your tree and cause it to lose more fruit.
