Abstract

The application of plant growth regulators (PGRs) in trendy horticulture is well established; most notably horticulture in industrially advanced countries and their application is quick studying within the developing nations still. Natural and artificial plant growth regulators are used with increasing incidence to change crop plants by ever-changing the speed or pattern, or both, of their responses to the interior and external factors that govern development from germination through vegetative growth, procreative development, maturity, senescence or aging, and postharvest preservation. The analysis review indicated that use of plant growth regulators, regulation of plant metabolism, management of flowering, effects on fruit set and development, management of abscission, Breaking of Seed dormancy and seed germination, enhancing and regulation of flowering, dominant flower drop, fruit thinning, fruit setting and Yield, Apomixis, Post-harvest management and extending shelf life of horticultural crops.
