Nanomaterials can be mainly be synthesized by two approaches one is top-bottom and bottom-up approach depending upon the starting materials used for its synthesis. A wide variety of methods have been employed by considering its applications in the various fields. Synthesized nanomaterials can be studied by variety of techniques. The elemental analysis can be performed using EDAX technique. XRD confirms the structure and crystallinity of the synthesized nanoparticles. SEM technique is used to un-reveal surface morphology and the particle size can be exactly determined using TEM. SAED is complimentary technique available with TEM. FT-IR & FT-Raman techniques confirms and cross-check the fundamental bonds present in the sample. Thermal analysis namely TGA/DTA indicates the systematics of reaction when subjected to heat and leading to either exothermic or endothermic reactions.
