Medicinal herbs have a long and illustrious tradition. Many conventional medicines were produced in the twentieth century as a result of traditional healing systems that used specific herbs to cure different health concerns.
According to the WHO (World Health Organization), herbal medicines are being used by 80 percent of people all over the world for some element of their primary health care needs, and Plant extracts or active components are used in most of these therapies. India has long been renowned as a rich reservoir of medicinal plants, most of which are produced as raw materials for medicine production. Treatment using medicinal herbs such as Garlic, Ginger, Neem, Tulsi is assumed to be very safe because there are no or few negative effects.
