Herbal cosmetics have been popular and it is obtained from higher plants, herbs, shrubs etc. Peoples and several tribal communities have been using plants in herbal cosmetics formulations because of lesser side effects and easily available. Chinese, Ayurvedic medicine are mostly made from plants. Herbal products have no effect on the human body. Herbal products are made out of plants products like Kesar, chandan, neem etc. are enriched with healthy nutrients and of the active constituents. This paper will describe the brief account of herbal based cosmetic formulations.
