The skin is an organ that makes touch with the environment while also shielding the human body from harmful external influences. Skin disorders are widespread and a common health condition that affect people of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, and inflict injury in a variety of ways. A healthy body begins with a healthy skin. Many people might get skin illnesses, which harm the skin. These disorders are routinely treated with plants and their parts. Plants have been used since the dawn of time. Natural therapy is reportedly inexpensive and safe. It's also a good starting point for developing novel synthetic agents. Some plants for the treatment of skin problems are offered, this chapter summarises the importance of herbal plants for protecting, treating, and minimising skin infections through the use of herbal pharmaceuticals, decocted extracts, poultice, paste, and lotions that help treat skin infections and diseases at a lower cost and with fewer side effects than modern and allopathic medicines.
