Abstract

Carbohydrates are source of energy coin for human body which presents almost in all food and sweeteners are also a source of carbohydrates which present as natural sweeteners and artificial sweeteners, both are having their own quality and play a vital role in human diet as well as in food industry. Many people used table sugar for sweet taste which is derived from sugarcane and contain sucrose. In food industry, food manufacturers used many sweet substances in their food products, besides sucrose there are other natural sweeteners which are also being used as sweeteners in food. Natural sweeteners contain good amount of macronutrients and micronutrients which helps to stay healthy but it also contains high level of carbohydrate and high consumption can leads to cause of many diseases. On the other hand artificial sweeteners used as substitute of natural sweetener, they are much sweeter than natural sweeteners and does not add calorie value in our diet, which helps to maintain glucose level and they good to use in diabetes patients diet but it is not more suitable than natural diet.
