Finding ways to help consumers choose healthy foods is one of the biggest health challenges. Food labelling is an excellent example of a tool that consumers may use to make decisions about their diet and way of life. As a result, food labels are crucial since they provide customers with vital nutrition information. Bridging the gap between consumers and the original food ingredients and their nutritional properties is an important goal. Hence, comprehensive and accurate nutrition labels are becoming an essential component of the current environment. Nutritional labelling was suggested as one of the initiatives by the World Health Organisation (WHO) in 2004 to help the public choose healthier options. A food label therefore encourages consumption and production by educating consumers about the options accessible to them.
