Abstract

Vegetables rich in micronutrients, minerals, vitamins and nutraceutical values, these are essential for control of disorders and diseases and immunity booster along with provides livelihood security through youth employment. Climate change as a significant effect on vegetable production to fluctuation of climate conditions now days many anthropogenic activities and also greenhouse effect. In different agro-climatical situations and environmental change can create stress on this plants it effects to reduce the growth of the crop. In generally less soil moisture, reduced availability of irrigation water, high temperatures, continuously flooding, increased salinity with soil erosion, increase in thunderstorms, drought, damage by frost etc., the major factors for average productivity alongside the acceptance of consumer and quality. Suddenly change in the climate influences the soil fertility status, occurs the disease and pest host pathogen interaction, behaviour of the pollinators and soil microbial population. However, need to develop the implications effect of climate change on vegetable crops.
