China aster (Callistephus chinensis L. Nees) belongs to the family Asteraceae is one of the most popular cut flowers as well as loose flowers grown throughout the world. The popularity of China aster is increased in recent years. Having the potentiality to adapt well to varying soil and climatic conditions, it can be grown successfully under different agro-climatic conditions of India. Productivity and quality of flower crop can be improved either by high yielding cultivar or improved horticulture practices including precised agriculture inputs and practices such as under cover cultivation, proper maintenance and inter-culture operation. Hence, a package of practices for cultivation of China aster under protected condition is given in this chapter.
