Abstract

Soil pollution is the global concern which degrade the soil day by day by the inappropriate use of pesticides, chemical fertilizers, etc., so we need to address this problem by giving awareness to the farmers. However, to increase the agriculture crop farmer use heavy amount of chemical in the field no doubt it increases the crop productivity at the cost of losing fertility in the soil. Here we suggest solid waste management and shift the farmer from applying chemical pesticide to bio- pesticide. It took many years to restore fertility but one should start using bio- fertilizers and the micro-organism in this fertilizer improves the soil fertility. By using fungicide and bio-pesticides, it takes longer time to react but it does not have any adverse effect to the soil. So the farmer should use organic pesticide which is less effective on soil microorganism.
