Abstract

The chapter considers the approaches of the development of the remote sensing methods application for the monitoring and management of soil, water and air pollution by collection of different multi-spectral satellite imagery and other data from remote sensing. Environmental health management is most crucial for this time because over the past few decades, the earth’s surface and atmosphere has facing major problems like soil degradation and pollution, water quality deterioration and pollution and most important air pollution. Remote sensing has emerged as a very helpful tool for monitoring and management of environmental pollution in the last few years. In environmental management, remote sensing helps in the systematic collection of data, surveys, and analysis of such data for better monitoring and further management of such environmental problems.
