Dryland is a place where the low precipitation and prolonged dry seasons in drylands can lead to water scarcity, and limit agricultural productivity and output. In this dryland zones where precipitation is balanced by evaporation from surfaces and by transpiration by plants. Because of low precipitation and high Evaporation, we can observe the accumulation of salts in soil which makes the soil unfit for cultivation. In this article we are going to see that what kind of problematic soils in dryland and how we have to make the soils from unfit for cultivation to perfectly fit for cultivation.
