The book chapter is focusing on bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities in the agriculture value chain and its constraints. The major constraints focussed are limited knowledge of the actors about this vast sector, constraints in marketing of produce, inadequate raw materials for quality production, challenges in post-harvest handling and poor financial status of producers. Great attention at each point in the chain could help overcome these challenges effectively. On the basis of scientific studies and relevant literatures, the chapter intended to convey the efficient pathways for the sustainable development of value chain.
