Abstract

In present scenario people will be more specific while purchasing any kitchen equipment as increasing in discomfort and busy schedule. The present study was conducted to find the requirements of the respondents about chopping board like design features; storage facility and major defects faced which leads to discomfort etc. An exploratory research design was followed. Sample size of 20 women respondents from Nizamabad district was selected by using purposive sampling technique. Structured interview schedule was developed to collect the data. Correlation was used to compare the data. Results exposed that most of the respondents were looking for the chopping board with proper handle to hold and storage facility, less defective more aesthetically unique and large size chopping board for their kitchen. Significant positive relationship was found between discomfort and working status of women.
