India is one of the developing countries in the world but the country facing a massive problem of unemployment. Unemployment can be defined as a state of workless for a man fit and willing to work. South India is the area encompassing the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana as well as the union territory of Pondicherry, occupying 19.31% of India's area. The economy of South India after the independence of the nation conformed to a socialist framework, with strict governmental control over private sector participation, foreign trade and foreign direct investment. This study is deal with the issues related to unemployment rate of south Indian states. The main objective of this study is to compare the average Unemployment level between south Indian states. Also, compare the average Unemployment rate between south Indian states. Finally, from this analysis the Unemployment rates of south Indian States were detected.
