Natural goods and conventional medical treatments are quite significant. Some parts of the world have practised traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, Kampo, traditional Korean medicine, and Unani, which have developed into well-organized, regulated medical systems. In addition to reviewing the literature on the connections between conventional medicine, natural products, and traditional medicine, this project will investigate potential ideas and approaches from traditional medicine and natural goods that could be applied to the advancement of drug discovery. This study provides an overview of the distinctive qualities of theory, practise, current function or status, and contemporary research of eight different types of traditional medicine systems. Though since 1805, when the first pharmacologically-active plant species were discovered, only a small portion of the world's plant species have been rigorously studied for bioactivities Since the poppy plant's component morphine was discovered, natural remedies and conventional pharmaceuticals have already greatly benefited contemporary medicine. Natural products and traditional medicines provide unequalled benefits when it comes to developing new pharmaceuticals. These advantages include a wealth of clinical experiences as well as a unique diversity of chemical structures and biological activity.
