In todays’ fast moving world, usage of smart vehicle with high profile technology is a demanding nature. Unfortunately to achieve secure data transmission between the sender and the receiver satisfying CIA traid (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability) especially in mobile nodes like VANET (Vehicle Adhoc Networks) is a big matter of deal. Several asymmetric encryption techniques such as RSA algorithm, Blow Fish, RC5 are available to ensure the cryptographic credentials of the sender and the receiver .In this paper we deal with one of the public key mechanism namely elliptic curve cryptography to attain security between vehicles in the public network. Using ECC how key pairs are selected and generated in CA and how they are exchanged using Diffie Hellman Key Agreement mechanism and also how integrity of message is preserved using our BBSKM technique are discussed here and results are shown in OSM.
