The survival of Breast Cancer patients has increased enormously in the last 3 decades. Treatment is evolving day by day. The main concern of today's medical science is developing new drugs and combining strategies for increasing efficacy and overcoming drug resistance without increasing toxicity rates. FDA approved many new drugs in recent years for the treatment, and many are under clinical investigation. This book chapter discusses the approved drugs, their mechanism, and the clinical trials of various drugs. This chapter also briefly describes the role of Imaging techniques for breast cancer detection and various other methods for the diagnosis of breast cancer.
