Parasitic diseases and other neglected tropical disease in Africa and Nigeria in particular is on the increase due to poverty and hunger, corruption and neglect of some public health tropical diseases. Pig parasites affect human and there is an urgent need to control the parasites from the pig farms so as to reduce the parasitic diseases burden in human population in the endemic areas. This chapter cross examined the pig farming industry, parasites of pigs possibly affecting human population and their control measures. The parasites of pigs affecting human population can be helminthes, nematodes, cestodes, and trematodes. The control of such parasites invariably reduces the burden of such parasites in human population.
