Dr. Masroor Jahan is working as an Associate professor in department of clinical psychology in Ranchi Institute of Neuro Psychiatry and Allied Sciences (RINPAS) Ranchi Jharkhand India. The authors discuss about the understanding the formation of borderline personality disorder and its components such as emotional dysregulations, acting out behavior, and anger out bursts, self-harm and generalized personality disorder. Both the authors believe that borderline personality forms in the form of syndrome and which has its components as mentioned above and in order to manage the borderline personality disorder we have to manage its components as well through the help of a holistic approach which is mentioned in the chapter.
