Neem (Azadirachta indica) is an evergreen, temperature-tolerant, blooming plant that originated in India but has now spread to worldwide. It is one of the medicinal plants with a wide variety of therapeutic benefits, and every part of the tree is utilised as medicine both locally and in pharmaceutical businesses after preparation. It kills bacteria, fungus, and viruses, as well as other microorganisms and ectoparasites. It also contains antibacterial, antifungal, antimalarial and anti-cancer properties, as well as anti-oxidant, anti-diabetic, and anti-inflammatory properties. It's also utilised as a bio-pesticide and fertiliser in agriculture to boost crop yields. The tree also serves as a source of animal feed, providing nutrients such as protein, vitamins, minerals and fatty acids.
