Cancer is a leading, deadliest disease in the world, accounting for an estimated 9.6 million deaths in 2018 and by 2020 the global Cancer level has increased to 10 million deaths and 19.3 million cases. Several medicines are available for this disease in the market, but there are no anticancer drugs that are safe and effective and may become resistant in the future. Medicinal Plants around the globe have several therapeutic and diagnostic properties against various infectious diseases which are still unknown. Many researchers are using different methodologies to identify and isolate the bioactive Compounds of the Plants that are found useful in treating different Cancer Cell lines and this research is going on. Screening of bioactive compounds from these plants can be used as an ultimate weapon to treat and Manage various types of Cancer. The drugs/medicines from these medicinal plants will surely play an important role in curing many health issues in the future. So, an effort has been made in this review to establish Knowledge about the rare Medicinal Plants, their bioactive compounds, and the mechanism of action of the compound against cancer; which is written by analyzing various bibliographic sources like Google Scholar, Scopus, Pubmed, etc.
