The herb is recognized for its remarkable wound-healing capabilities and efficacy in treating various skin conditions, attributed to its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and memory-enhancing properties. Globally, Centella asiatica is incorporated into numerous topical and oral products, gaining popularity in food and beverage formulations due to its health benefits. This paper explores the biological characteristics of Centella asiatica, including its morphology and the beneficial properties of its leaves, which contribute to its cosmetic and medicinal applications. Additionally, the issue of adulteration in commercial markets is addressed, emphasizing the need for awareness regarding products mislabeled as Centella asiatica.
