Abstract

Soybean (Glycine max) is one of the major oil seed crop. Several pests and diseases are attacked to the crop due the susceptibility nature of the crop. Actinomycetes are the microorganisms which are have the capability to control several diseases by their biocontrol property. Bacterial, fungal, viral and nematode caused diseases are very well controlled by the actinomyctes. By the action of actinomycetes we can cut down the usage of chemical pesticides and fungicides. In this chapter discussed the how the actinomycetes are control several bacterial, fungal, viral and nematode caused diseases and the chemical compunds released by the actinomycetes etc.
