In flower crops quality is one of the prime important parameters in the floriculture industry which is mainly influenced by application of major nutrients. Proper supply of micronutrients along with macro nutrients in adequate quantities and suitable proportions is one of the most important factors that control plant growth in flower crops. Micronutrients such as boron (B), iron (Fe), zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), chloride (Cl), manganese (Mn), molybdenum (Mo) and nickel (Ni) are involved in various metabolic processes and cellular functions which enhances the yield. Micronutrients are gaining momentum among the flower growers because of their beneficial nutritional support and at the same time ensure better harvest and returns.
