Organization is a system where a group of individuals work together to achieve common goals. To achieve short term and long-term goals, an organization has to invest smartly in human resources, as they contribute a major role to increase productivity and profitability of the organization. The management should consider personal goals and objectives of employees while framing overall objectives for the organization. This will help to develop a committed workforce towards organization. The committed employees provide several benefits to the organization in terms of employee advocacy, productivity, effective utilization of resources, lower absenteeism and turnover rate and so on. In certain cases, in addition to the efforts of management, the employees also take initiatives to become committed staff. In the recent past, COVID-19 made a major impact on economic and non-economic activities due to this many organizations shut down their business. For survival, many organizations changed their strategy. Work from home is one of the practices initiated by the organization to deal with the COVID situation. The horizon of the workplace extended in different zones from workplace to residential places of employees. In this regard, it is very interesting to know the commitment level of employees who practice work from home. The objective of the present study is to identify the impact of work from home practice on organizational commitment of employees in select Information Technology (IT) companies in Goa. The study is based on primary data to achieve the stated objective. A well-structured questionnaire was developed by the researcher for the collection of data. The sample size drawn for the study was 85 employees. A convenience sampling method was used to collect data from the respondents.
