Conducted within the framework of explanatory research utilizing a quantitative approach, this investigation delves into examining the direct and indirect ramifications of Knowledge of finance and Attitude of financial systems on both locus of control and Management of financial behavior. The study is centered on students enrolled in the Faculty of Biology at Coimbatore colleges during the academic period spanning from 2022 to 2023, selected through proportional random sampling. The data collection process involved administering a questionnaire, and the ensuing data analysis made use of the path analysis technique. The outcomes of the analysis reveal that, while Knowledge of finance does not wield a discernible influence on either locus of control or Management of financial behavior, there exists a significant impact from Attitude of financial systems on both these aspects. Furthermore, the research brings to light a noteworthy correlation existing between locus of control and Management of financial behavior among biology students within the Coimbatore college context.
