Abstract

Strawberries are among the most delicious fruits globally and are rich in Vitamin C (58.8mg). They contain a variety of beneficial compounds such as polyphenols and anthocyanins, contributing to their nutritional value. These small, succulent berries are vividly colored, sugary, tangy, and seedless. Berry fruits, including strawberries, are known for their richness in nutrients and antioxidants, making them beneficial for managing diabetes. Strawberries possess antioxidant properties and exhibit anticarcinogenic effects in diverse cancer cell types. This perennial plant is herbaceous, with its edible part being the fleshy thalamus of the aggregate fruit (Etaerio of achenes), known for its highly perishable and non-climactic nature.
