Dust particles, fumes, stink, and various forms of gases are the primary sources of air pollution. Air pollution occurs when these components are introduced into the atmosphere in such a way that they are damaging to humans, animals, and plants. The health of humans and other living things on our planet is harmed by air pollution. Smog and acid rain cause cancer and respiratory disorders. It also contributes to global warming and the depletion of the ozone layer in the atmosphere. Because it is impossible to entirely remove air pollution in this period of industrialization, only efforts can be taken to minimize it. In an attempt to reduce air pollution, our government has produced and continues to develop recommendations for air quality and legislation to regulate emission. We can contribute to the environmental problem on an individual level by taking public transportation or carpooling. Also, by restricting our usage of power, we may assist to reduce the pollutants generated during electricity production, which accounts for the majority of industrial air pollution.
