It's still very difficult to balance work and personal obligations, especially for female professors who juggle two jobs as caregivers and teachers. Social expectations, family obligations and professional demands exacerbate the difficulties faced by women in academia in Tirupur District, Tamil Nadu, where education is changing quickly. The particular challenges faced by female professors in attaining a healthy work-life balance are examined in this chapter. It looks at the methods used by female professors to deal with these difficulties, including time management, using technology and leaning on family support. The chapter also emphasizes the value of institutional support in creating a supportive work environment, such as professional development programs, flexible work schedules and lighter teaching loads. The results highlight how important it is that educational institutions support gender-sensitive policies.
