The science of life known as Ayurveda takes a holistic approach to fitness and uses personalized therapy. The oldest still-practicing tradition with a strong philosophical and experimental foundation is Ayurveda, the conventional Indian medical system. It is one of the earliest medical systems and contains many medical theories and principles. Unfortunately, this priceless inheritance from our forefathers is falling behind because certain notions lack scientific support. Therefore, for Ayurveda to be recognized and accepted globally, evidence-based research is essential, and research methodology has to be improved. Interestingly, Ayurveda can heal various chronic conditions that contemporary medicine cannot, including cancer, diabetes, arthritis, and asthma. The current chapter emphasises a number of study areas, including Ayurvedic literary, basic, pharmacological, and clinical research. With a primary emphasis on basic research for the future, the chapter continues to concentrate on strengthening the research methods for Ayurveda.
