The objective of this essay is to show the perception of university professors of a Peruvian university about the current and prospective state of the knowledge society and its approach to Peruvian education. This research used the descriptive level ethnographic method and an open question interview was applied to collect the information. Our sampling was intentional and for accessibility. The results showed the challenges and pending issues of the proposed topic involving an articulated work between the public sector, the State, organized civil society and the political position to generate quality educational conditions.
