The present researcher on the basis of her long-stand professional experience and discussion with many high experienced sports personnel, experts, coaches, officials and players in the field hockey is their scientific opinion that the problem stated above is really significant and challenging. It has become necessary to newly construct a specific uniform program for discipline field hockey to Krida Prabodhini of Maharashtra sports training centre and state sports hostels. Moreover there is an eminent need of an accurate Training Program to train novice field hockey players scientifically. Hence the researcher wishes to undertake this problem as a research project. "A study of the constructed development training programme and its effect on the improvement of novice field hockey player [ ] skills acquisition and performance".
